May 18 2012, 03:11 PM it was warm in the night — Colton |
| If the town were a living thing, this would most definitely be the place of its soul. As the main front for where the members of the town live, along with their pets and dogs. Homes, mostly cabins, line the make-shift roads, and some are even set away from the rest for signs of privacy and comfort. The patches of land each cover roughly an acre or more at a time. For those humans that vacation here, cottages are lined closer to the town for easier access by the tourists. |

| Located towards the south of town square is a large one story building containing canines that are up for adoption. The front desk is large with a half circular counter where the employees are located, and following it on the right you come to a large double door. On the other side are three other doors, each leading to a different part of the main aisle that winds around the mesh fenced kennels. |

May 19 2012, 11:04 PM postcards from far away — Gregory |
| Welcome to the Market where everything you’ll be needing while in Fort Rain can be purchased. Even so, if you happen to stumble across something you need that the town doesn’t have, there’s a good chance it can be ordered for you. At nearly all hours of the day there is activity in the Market. During the day, the people of Fort Rain do their shopping and socialize. At night, the strays of Fort Rain scavenge for food and interact with others of their species. |

| If you wanted to see the what a proud town Fort Rain is, there is no better place to look than at the Town Square. Often busier than even the market, this is the hot spot for trades that go own between mushers. Dogs, medals, trophies, and anything else you can think of has been known to be shown off here. Lined on each side with benches, during the day it can be quite a breathtaking sight, what with the mountainous horizon. |

May 7 2012, 05:59 PM The Truth Hurts — Joseph |
| Nearing the western edge of town is a large banner with the words Finish wrote on in red. This is the area were the races start as a huge crowd of people gathers to watch to dogs take off, and also were the races usually end with another crowed of long awaiting people. In front of the finish line is just a vast emptiness that takes you towards glacier pass. A small shack like cabin is located next to the finish line where the trophies and a bulletin with upcoming races is held. |

| If you go as far West as you can walk, you will eventually come upon a small, sunny group of trees. While they have been known to trick people into thinking there is a forest right after, the truth of the matter is that it is a small strip of coast. Aside from the trees at the very edge Pebble Beach gets sun at nearly all times of the day. Instead of sand, the majority of the land here is small, round pebbles, which have been smoothed due to the severity of some of the crashing waves. |

May 9 2012, 05:46 PM You Think You Know Me — Óoleoyi |
| Located to the northeast from Fort Rain there is a small set of mountains. In comparison to many they aren't very big at all, though to the residents of the town and the wolves from around, they're large enough to satisfy needs. The very peaks are nearly always covered with a light dusting of snow, and from time to time they are blocked with gray-white clouds. The occasional pine tree can be seen across them, though vegetation is a rarity towards the top. |

May 16 2012, 11:42 AM a play day — Sophie |
| Cutting sorely between the Ample Forest and Pebble Beach is Bice Valley. Here tends to be a hot spot for animal activity, be it wolves, bears, or deer. For the animals that eat vegetation, there is plenty and this means good hunting for the predators. The grasses here grow wild and untamed, a paradise for the undergrowth. The occasional tree dots the surface, though otherwise remains uncovered and unprotected. |

May 4 2012, 07:38 PM Hour of the Wolf — Amicita |
| Starting at the very edge of the valley, this forest is a vast and almost endless one. Trees reach great heights here, and in some places light can never make it to the forest floor. The forest is old and large, some parts having never been touched by the hands of mankind. Exotic and intoxicating flowers wrap themselves around the trunks of various trees, and don't be surprised to find more than just the occasional spider to be poisonous. Although beautiful, this forest can be a dangerous one. |

| With half of it hidden in the looming shadow of the mountains, the lake is the true essence of tranquility. With parts of it shaded by either the shadow of the mountains or the thin lining of trees, sunlight easily can find its way to whomever rests here. Fish are a normal thing for the lake, and even large eagles or hawks nest themselves in the trees around. The lake is a place of life and quiet, the meaning of what it is to be truly wild. |
